I’m an Investment Manager with a background in bioengineering (MSc from Imperial College London) and biology (BA from UC Berkeley). Before moving into investment, I worked in clinical trials at a CRO, where I developed a strong passion for healthcare innovation, especially in women’s health. I’m also a total sports maniac and love staying active, which fuels my drive and energy in everything I do. I started the podcast Ladies, Let’s Talk Health, which focused on women’s health but now want to expand the topics to cover broader societal issues. I’m passionate about raising awareness, driving meaningful conversations, and supporting impactful solutions which is why I'm excited about the Inspiring Women Podcast.
As a young woman with a passion for media and journalism, there’s nothing I enjoy more than helping to craft a good story. So naturally, I’m absolutely thrilled to be a part of Inspiring women, a podcast devoted to celebrating the voices of remarkable women from all walks of life. Whilst I have a particular passion for female reproductive health, nutrition and of course the sheer joy of whipping up something delicious in the kitchen, this podcast offers so much more. What excites me the most is the opportunity to share not only my interests with others but to soak up the wisdom of the brilliant women who join us - each one bringing a fresh dose of insight and inspiration. It’s a comforting reminder that we all have something to teach and something to learn. Here’s to uplifting one another, one story at a time.
I currently work for a social cohesion and integration charity in Manchester and have previously worked for non-profits addressing food poverty and supporting refugee integration in the city. Through my research for my MA in Humanitarianism and Conflict Response, I explored how communication and media can shape conversations around conflict, community, and engagement, with a particular focus on the importance of solidarity and first-hand narratives in challenging misrepresentation of displacement and gendered experiences. My passion for storytelling drives my belief in the importance of podcasts like “Inspiring Women” as I believe storytelling has the power to uplift communities, amplify minority voices, and ensure marginalised perspectives are heard in conversations that matter. I love that “Inspiring Women” is playing a key role in making these critical conversations happen.
I’m a student at the University of Warwick studying all aspects of medical science, with a passion for exploring health inequalities and how women are treated differently, both as staff and patients, within the medical field.
I run my own podcast, ‘Medisynergy,’ educating young students like myself about STEM and medical careers, with the hope of inspiring them by showcasing the many opportunities available. Being a student highlights to me the attitudes of young women and girls and how much we need inspiration, enthusiasm, and standout role models.
I’m so excited to be a part of this podcast, inspiring women in their health and careers.
